Last time we teamed up with Perth for a night of DnB it was huge........so we decided more Perth / Melbourne collabs were called for !
July Free Dope we bring you a release party with Tech Collective feat. Voortrekker.
Voortrekker
Having grown up as a musician on a strict regime of organic death metal, funk and jazz from the likes of Death, Mr. Big and Stanley Clarke, Voortrekker was drawn to obscure, weighty sounds accompanied by complex rhythmic percussion. It only made sense that he would later draw on these genres after falling in love with drum n bass and deciding to produce it.
Voortrekker makes his Tech Collective debut with this rolling, two track release. He joins forces with Clino on Dot Punch to kick things off at a solid pace before the mood darkens just a touch and rolls into some deep growling bass on Blindside for good measure.
